INGREDIENTS
150 ml yoghurt 3 tsp garlic paste 3 tsp ginger paste 2 tsp chilli powder 1/3 tsp turmeric powder 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 750 gm mutton pieces 150ml cooking oil or ghee 2 ground onions 3 green cardamoms 3 cloves 3 chopped tomatoes 100 gms green coriander
METHOD
Whisk yoghurt with garlic and ginger paste, chili and turmeric powder and coriander. Pour over meat. Set aside for 3-4 hours. Heat oil, ry onion until colored. Add cardamoms and cloves. Fry for 1 minute. Add meat with marinade. Cook until liquid has been absorbed. Fry meat until colored. Add tomatoes. Continue frying for 10 minutes. . Pour in water to cover and Simmer until meat is tender garnish with chopped coriander and Serve with rice or Indian bread
