Ingredients:
1000 Gms mutton shanks
200 gm sliced onions 200 gm oil 25 gms garlic paste 25 gms ginger paste 4 green crushed cardamoms 4 black crushed cardamoms
4 cloves
Small piece mace
4”cinnamon stick 30 gms red chilli powder 30gms coriander powder 2 tsp salt 200 gms beaten yoghurt water
Procedure:
Heat oil in thick bottom pan. Add, green and black cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and mace when crackles add onions and sauté them till golden brown. Now add the mutton shanks and cook on high flame to seal the juices and keep the flavour intact. Then add red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and cook for few minutes’ add yoghurt and water. Bring the preparation to boil. Cover the pan and cook the preparation for 45 minutes on low flame. Nalli Gosht is ready. Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander accompanied with roti or rice
