Murgh Ka Achar

Ingredients:

1 kg chicken - cut into 8 pieces
200 ml Mustard Oil
1 tsp onion seeds
1 ½ tsp mustard seeds
1 ½ tbsp fennel seeds

1 ½ tsp crushed coriander seeds

½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
6-10 whole red chili
1 cup onions-sliced thinly

2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 cup malt vinegar
1 tbsp salt or to taste
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp turmeric


Method: 

Heat the oil and add the mustard, fennel, onion, crushed coriander, fenugreek seeds and red chili Sauté over high heat and add the onions. Cook till light golden brown
Remove onions from pan and keep aside.
Add the chicken to the same pan and sauté
over high heat till opaque.
Lower the heat and cook till tender.
Add vinegar and ginger garlic paste and cook for 2-3 minutes. Mix in the onions, salt, chili powder and turmeric and simmer for about 5 minutes and transfer to sterilized jar after cooling.
